The Seafair Hydroplane Race is indisputably the Northwest’s premier sporting event, not only by its size, but also by the enthusiasm of its fans. More than 400,000 spectators and an additional 1,000,000 television viewers experience the heart-pumping action of the fastest boats in the world skimming across the water at speeds in excess of 200 miles per hour.

Produced in conjunction with the Seafair Air Show, the Seafair Hydroplane Race weekend is filled with non-stop speed, action and family fun. Add in activities and attractions in the park and this makes for a 58-year tradition that has captured generations of race fans in the Puget Sound region.
