Seafair Scholarship Program for Women Community Service and Creative Expression Judged Event on July 14 and Support Miss Seafair 2010's Platform
Chicken Soup Brigade, Lifelong AIDS Alliance Food Program!
Miss Seafair 2010, Kisa Nishimoto, has been volunteering with Chicken Soup Brigade since 2008. Her involvement ranged from working food drives and making weekly food deliveries to housebound individuals. Kisa's passion for Chicken Soup Brigade has flourished these past few years and she feels fortunate to be able to educate, inform and share her platform through the Seafair Scholarship Program for Women.
In the spirit of this community service and creative expression event, the Seafair Scholarship Program for Women will be hosting a food drive for Chicken Soup Brigade. Some donation suggestions include:
- canned soup
- dry pasta
- cereal (corn flakes, oat rings, etc.)
- jarred or canned spaghetti sauce
- canned tuna
- rice
- canned beans
- macaroni & cheese
- other non-perishable food items
Where: Museum of Flight
Time: Doors open at 6:00 pm / Program begins at 6:30 pm
No admission charge for the judged events / $10 donation requested from each guest
