About Chairman John Buller
Buller has a diverse business career that includes 11 years as the Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Bon Marche/Macy’s; six years as Associate Vice President of Alumni Relations for the University of Washington and served as CEO of Tully’s Coffee. Three years ago Buller launched a communications consulting business and is currently working with the Seattle Police Department to spearhead its social media strategies. John graduated with an MBA from the University of Washington.
Deeply commitment to area non-profit community organizations, Buller has served as a board member at the Seattle Chamber of Commerce, chaired the King County Sports Council, the Seattle Center Advisory Commission, the Washington Athletic Club and chaired the 1995 Final Four Local Organizing Committee. Additionally, this past year he played an instrumental role in the Next 50, the anniversary celebration of the 1962 World's Fair.
Buller began serving on the Seafair Board of Directors in 1991.
