The F1-PROP Powerboat Tour joined the Seafair Weekend line-up for the first time this year. The F1-PROP Tour, which included 13 teams, came to Seafair this weekend to compete for the ultimate award: the Graham Trucking Cup. Below are the drivers andtheir sponsors:

It was an exciting weekend teaming with competition as the 17-foot long, 375-horsepower boats went head-to-head in seven heats and one final race to determine the ultimate champion. At the end of the day, driving boat 53, Greg Foster and the Sea WayMarine/Marine Engine team took home the the infamous Graham Trucking Cup award. Foster put up a hard fight to claim first place. Flying in at second wasboat 10 Terry Rinker and the Amsoil Synthetics team. Rinker hails from Tampa,FL and certainly made a lasting impression here in Seattle. A Paw Paw, IL native, Chris Fairchild whipped around the course and took third place inthe Graham Trucking Cup driving boat 62 for the Mercury Racing team.
The F1-PROP boats feature either a 375-horsepower Mercury or Johnson engine that propels the boat to speeds of 140 miles per hour. The boats are 17 feet long and weight approximately 1,150 pounds with a driver. F1-PROP boats are also known as "tunnel" boats. Tunnel hull racing began inthe 1960's on the European Union of International Motorboats circuit and the first tunnel hull boat came to the U.S. in 1964.
