Pat Cashman will emcee this unique fundraising event which honors local individuals for providing significant and positive impact to Seafair as well as recognize the newly crowned 2012 Miss Seafair and Student Ambassadors. The event will culminate with front row viewing of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels "Walk Down," where the pilots board the jets before taxiing to the runway for their first practice run called “Circle & Arrival.”
Breakfast & the Blues supports the following Seafair Foundation Program:
-Seafair Ambassador Program promotes community volunteerism, and provides college scholarships, mentorship and international exchange trip to area high school students.
-Seafair Scholarship Program for Women provides college scholarships and develops public speaking skills and community leadership to young women.
-Seafair Community Events Program promotes and supports 30 neighborhood and cultural celebrations in the Puget Sound Region.
-Seafair Special Holiday Cruise treats 2,000 developmentally disabled guests to a unique and memorable lighted holiday cruise.
