Packet Pack Up Registration: You can register on Friday, July 27 from 10 a.m.- 7 p.m. at Road Runner Sports in Green Lake during the Packet Pick Up Party (this will be the ONLY location you can register on Friday).
On-Site/Day Of: Day of registration is $35. Day-of registration will be open from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. at the Seattle Center grounds.

Route Details
The race starts at the Seattle Center (2nd Avenue and Thomas), South on 2nd Avenue to Denny Way, East on Denny Way to 4th Avenue, continuing South on 4th Avenue along the Alaska Airlines Seafair Torchlight Parade Route, Right on Washington Street to 1st Avenue in Pioneer Square, Left on 1st Avenue to Royal Brougham near the Stadiums. U-turn onto the Upper Level of the viaduct for scenic views of Elliot Bay, the city skyline and the beautiful Olympic mountains, take the Western Street Exit, Turn Right onto Broad Street from Western, Turn left on 2nd Avenue and race up the Seafair Torchlight ULTRA hill to earn your beverage, and finish at Seattle Center. 2012 Torchlight Run Route.pdf

Pirate & Clown Costume Contest
Don't forget to dress up for our PIRATE & CLOWN COSTUME CONTEST! Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 adult participants and the top 3 children participants (13 and under).
Wheeled Devices Policy
Wheelchair Participants: Participants using wheelchairs must wear helmets and equip their three-wheel style wheelchair with dual handbrakes and a bicycle flag.
Baby Strollers/Wheeled Devices: In accordance with insurance regulations, we are unable to permit wheeled devices such as in-line skates, bicycles, baby strollers or joggers on the route. All entrants should carefully read the disclaimer before entering.
Clothing Check
Runners will have the opportunity to leave their belongings at the clothing check area near the start line.
Age Categories
8K: Competition will be held in the following age groups for men’s and women’s divisions: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over.
5K: The top three finishers for men's and women's divisions in the following age groups will receive awards - 19 and Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over.

Join Seafair at the Post-Race Party! Enjoy entertainment and free food. Must be 21 or over to access the beer garden serving Michelob ULTRA and other beverages.
Awards
The fastest female and male in the 8k will each receive a prize. The winners of the costume contest will receive a special prize! Only registered entrants are eligible for awards and prizes. Receive your awards after the race at the awards ceremony. If you are not present, awards will be mailed.
