Event Details:

Join Seafair in welcoming the 2014 Scholarship Program for Women participants as they announce their creative expression talent & community service platforms on their journey to become the next Miss Seafair! This year’s luncheon is open to the public. Family, friends & fans are encouraged to come cheer on these new community leaders! Miss Seafair 2013, Emily Rio Barber, will continue the tradition of the “Little Miss Seafair Mermaid Program,” where each child receives a tiara gift & special crowning.


REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Advance registration and ticket purchase by June 11, 2014 is mandatory due to Homeland Security requirement. The registration form is attached & also available at www.seafairfoundation.org. The same ID used on the form must be present at check-in. No one will be allowed to board without photo ID (minors exempt).


SPECIAL BOARDING INSTRUCTIONS

Paid parking is available at Terminal 91 with shuttles from the parking lot to the terminal. Please arrive on time & allow ample time for check-in. Check-in begins at 10 a.m.. The terminal, gangway & cruise ship are all ADA Compliant.

Help us welcome back the U.S. Navy Blue Angels at the 2014 Seafair Foundation Backstage Air Show Experience at Seafair Weekend! 

With this VIP experience you will get special access to the Museum of Flight prior to official opening, the U.S. Navy Blues Angels, Patriots Jet Team, Marine Week display, and the opportunity to view a performance aviation movie with a special guest speaker. The afternoon will consist of a catered lunch in a Bayview Hospitality Suite, guided tours of the Stan Sayres Pits, premium seating to watch the Blue Angels and other Boeing Seafair Air Show performers and free time to experience Genesee Park.

This event requires walking long distances and is not recommended for anyone with mobility challenges. Children must be 6 years of age to participate.


Itinerary:
9:00 a.m.: Greeting by an Air Show official at the Museum of Flight. 
9:15 a.m.: Free time to explore the museum
• At check-in area – At 20 minute intervals, groups of 25 will be escorted to the U.S. Navy Blue Angels VIP area at Boeing Field adjacent to the Museum of Flight 
10:30 a.m.: Guest speaker and performance aviation movie in the William Allen Theater.
11:30 a.m.: Ride to the Seafair Weekend event site to enjoy food, drink & hospitality near the Stan Sayres Pits on Lake Washington. 
12:00 p.m.: Enjoy food, drink and entertainment in Genesee Park from a private Bayview suite! 
12:45 p.m.: Guided VIP tours of the Stan Sayres Pits.
1:30 p.m.: Watch the aerobatics of the Boeing Air Show performers!
3:30 p.m.: Gather at hospitality area to travel back to Boeing Field.

Parking will be provided at the Museum of Flight Space Gallery. Details will be provided two weeks prior to the event.

Breakfast & the Blues is a fundraiser event that brings together 500 Puget Sound Region business and community leaders to showcase Seafair’s educational, cultural and community engagement programs and raise critical funds to support them. Our emphasis in 2014 will be on developing a youth leadership curriculum to be integrated into the Ambassador Program and Scholarship Program for Women. We will also be creating a one-day seminar for our Community Events organizers. We will honor local individuals who have provided significant and positive impact to Seafair, conduct a royal knighting and gear ourselves up for Seafair Weekend's unlimited hydroplane race, air show and wakeboard competition.

The Seafair Foundation, the 501(c)(3) charitable partner of the Seafair Festival, was established to create and build opportunities for Seafair’s youth education, cultural and community engagement programs.
