2010 Benaroya Research Institute Kids Triathlon
Family Fitness, Family Fun!

New kids triathlon route for 2010! Swim, bike and run to take place on the adult race couse.

Attention all kids ages 6-12! In addition to the adult event, the Benaroya Research Insittue Kids Triathlon at Seafair provides a great experience for the whole family. There are two categories for the kids to choose from:

Splashers- This category is geared toward the kids that just want to get their feet wet and find out what it feels like to compete in a triathlon . This group will run/paddle a 50 yd. swim*, 1 mile bike and .2 mile run. All kids ages 6-12 are welcome!

Dashers- This category is geared toward the kids that want to take on the challenge of real triathlon distancse and test their endurance. This group will complete a 150 yd. swim, 2 mile bike and .5 mile run. All kids ages 6-12 are welcome!

All participants receive a T-shirt, finishers medal and lots of support to complete the race. The PCC Natural Markets Kids Triathlon at Seafair will begin at approximately 10:30 a.m. after the adult race.

*Swim Course is knee to waist deep so children can stand up if necessary, however Dashers may need to swim.

Attention Parents:
1) Please note that only race officials and volunteers will be allowed in the transition area for safety reasons.There will be plenty of volunteers to assist the children as needed.
2) All children must have their parent or guardian sign the event waiver before they will be permitted to race. No exceptions!
