Celebrating 60 Years and Legends of the Sea!
Calling all mermaids and mermen, swabs and skippers, captains and commandants time to strap on your best seafaring gear and get ready for a party in honor of long summer days on the sea as Seafair celebrates its 60th and Legends of the Sea, Saturday July 25 along 4th Avenue in downtown Seattle!
The young and young at heart will make their way to downtown Seattle early Saturday morning, armed with lawn chairs, coolers, radios, couches and newspapers for a full day of soaking up the atmosphere that is uniquely Seattle.
Celebrating 60 years, the parade has seen generations joining together. For the non-Seattle native there is no better way to become familiar with so many aspects of our wonderful community and neighborhoods.
The 2.5-mile march through the heart of downtown (4th Avenue) Seattle features participation from nearly every neighborhood in the region and is a wonderful opportunity for spectators to experience the multi-cultural community in which we live.
Not to be outdone, the illuminated floats, precision drill teams, regional and international marching band, skilled equestrian units, the Seattle Police Motorcycle Drill team and of course the fun-loving Seafair Clowns and Seafair Pirates.
Contact seafair if you have any questions!
