Volunteer Opportunities

Join the Seafair Volunteer Team
Seafair could not happen without the enthusiasm and hard work of more than 5,000 volunteers, who strive to carry out the Seafair Mission of "connecting and celebrating the community spirit of Greater Seattle." From ticket takers to parade marshals, pirates to princesses, volunteers provide the dedication, energy and enthusiasm that make Seafair a summer sensation year after year. Seafair family groups are longtime festival volunteer organizations that provide logistical planning support, as well as pure fun and entertainment for all!

Volunteers are recommended to be 16 years of age or older, however exceptions can be made for those participating as part of an organized and supervised group such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Sporting teams, etc. or a parent who will be with the youth volunteer throughout the entire shift.
