U.S. Navy Blue Angel Jet Crashes in Beaufort, South Carolina The U.S. Navy Blue Angels have been a major part of the Seafair family since the mid 1950s and a mainstay at Seafair since 1972 thrilling Northwest fans with their precision flying. At this time, Seafair would like to reserve comment on whether or not the U.S. Navy Blue Angels will be able to perform at the 2007 Seafair Air Show, August 3-5. More information will be available after a full investigation is completed by the U.S. Navy and FAA. Seafair, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and FAA work hard to provide a safe show each summer above Lake Washington, exceeding the Federal Aviation Administration guidelines for an over-water air show. Through careful planning, there have been no incidents at a Seafair Air Show. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. Remembering Lt. Cmdr. Kevin J. Davis, Blue Angel No. 6 In lieu of flowers, the Davis family would prefer that donations be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in honor of “Blue Angel No. 6, Lt. Cmdr. Kevin J. Davis.” There is also a "memorial sign-in guest book" on the Blue Angels Fan Club website.
