Kent Cornucopia Days

"The Festival of the Valley"

Location: Kent, WA

Date/Times: 7/13/2012 10:00 am - 8:00 pm

Details:
Kent Cornucopia Days is another Community Service Project of the Kent Lions & Foundation. We are an all-volunteer organization and committee. This event is South King County's largest Family Festival. This is a four day Seafair festival that occurs in July of each year with upwards of 300,000 people in attendance. It's the largest Street Fair in the Northwest with just under 600 food (including two huge food courts), commercial and non-commercial vendors, the largest South King County Community Parade, a full size "Funtastic Shows" carnival and midway, continuous entertainment, and numerous educational displays. This year will again highlight our 16th annual "Skateboard & Inline Skate Tournament"; our 12th annual Kent Cornucopia Dragon Boat Races (at Lake Meridian), our 12 annual “Cornucopia Cup 2012” Soccer Tournaments (with the Kent Youth Soccer Association), our 11th annual 5K Fun Run / Walk (with the City of Kent), and our 3rd annual Kent Cornucopia Days Bike Ride (with the Emerald City Lights Bike Ride). Also join us for our Lions Health Unit, Lions Bingo, Kent Valley Artist Show, Beer Garden, and a Wine Tasting Garden. Kent Cornucopia Days is held in conjunction with the "Summer Splash" (a City of Kent, Parks and Recreation event over the 4th of July weekend) and the Kent Farmers Market (each Saturday starting June - Sept). This is truly an outstanding event that benefits over 250 nonprofit or charitable organizations. Come explore what we have to offer here!
